Battle of the Bands voting continues through July 4

Results too close to call

As expected, the daily vote tally is reaching a fever pitch, with just a week to go in deciding who the “Final Five” bands that will play for $3000 in cash at the 53rd Annual Great River Days festival on July 29.

The rankings change daily, given the close numbers separating the 14 bands entered, and almost 25% undecided voters yet to cast their ballot through the GreatRiverDays.com website. In summary, it wont be a sure thing for anyone given that first through fourth are separated by only 8 votes, and fifth through tenth by less than 30 at this point in time. For the bands and the fans, every vote matters, and all 14 bands are within the “undecided” poll margin. Voting ends on July 4, 2011 at 11:59PM. The winners will be announced on Q106.5-FM on Friday, July 8.
