GRD hosts the “Battle of the Bands” tonight at 7PM

 Day two of the GRD Concert series is tonight, with the 97X and Rock 104 “Battle of the Bands” on The Family Credit Union main stage at 7PM. Walk-up tickets are just $10, and go on sale at 5:30PM.

The latest forecast from NOAA calls for a few isolated passing showers this afternoon, followed by cool and cloudy conditions by showtime at 7PM. The frontal boundary and heavy rain is expected to stay well to the north in Minnesota, leaving behind some tail-end clouds and light winds to greet concert goers this evening. GRD organizers have brought in portable bleachers for the concert series, and the stage itself has a canopy so even a passing shower should not dampen the event. Compared to the hot and humid conditions of the last few days, tonight’s forecast will be a welcome relief.
