GRD Battle of the Bands
Each of the finalists submitted a short bio and webpage link to acquaint you with their band.
Crashing the FM – Durant Iowa. Crashing the FM consists of Dallas Wulf (Bass Guitar), Wil Rathjen (Rythm Guitar), Curtis Neff (Drums), Alex Bland (Lead Vocals), and Joe Gruemmer (Lead Guitar). They have been playing together for a little over a year with set lists which include the artists Led Zeppelin, Blink 182, AC/DC, and some original compositions. They enjoy long walks on the beach and seafood.

Room 212 – Muscatine Iowa. Room 212 is an original and cover band, that have performed together for 14 years in many local and regional venues. Members include Mark Byrd (Lead Guitar and Vocals) Dennis Keck (Drums and Vocals) Steve Lamorex (Bass and Vocals) and Jeremey Colshen (Guitar and Vocals). The band extends thanks to the fans that have supported them over the years.

Pour Boyz – Muscatine Iowa. A band of friends, family and musicians who love music and perform a variety from all genres. Band members include Brian Chick (Vocals) Gregg Bryden (Guitar) Michael Berry (Guitar and Vocals) Nick Gordy (Bass) Jimi Berry (Drums) Julie Berry (Vocals) Terry Need and Mark Berry (sound and lights).

The Beat Boxcar Children – Moline Illinois. The boxcar kids are a 6 piece live band hip hop / rock group playing a variety of instruments from synthesizers to banjos and accordions to slide guitars. With a focus on live performance energy, the band has won three prior “Battle of the Bands” competitions in the area. Band members are Ben Dowd (drums) Marcus Anderson (guitars, percussion, keys) Jake Lyle (bass) Jordan Johnson (vocals) Brandon Carleton (keys, samples, percussion) and Kelly Bisby (lead guitar)

Marmaduke – Davenport Iowa. Marmaduke was formed in the summer of 2008, and strives to bring rock and a special blend of funk and blues to the masses. Members include Jacob Ott (Guitar and Vocals) Justin Kelley (Drums and Vocals) and Josh Strause (Bass and Vocals) We are Rock!

These bands are competing for $2250 in cash at the GRD BOB event.
